Dr. Godwin Obute leads the medical team at Adonai Hospital in the capacity of the Chief Medical Director, assisted by a handful of other very senior clinicians and surgeons. Cumulative clinical experience of the team exceeds 174 years. The Hospital has open window for vulnerable population regarding access to healthcare in resource-poor setting which is the primary inspiration for the establishment of widows, children of the poor and indigent Aged project by Adonai Hospital.
THE WICOPIA PROJECT
Under the WICOPIA project, essential health services are made available through alternative funding for vulnerable children, indigent widows and Aged residents. Through its triad of community services platform- Adonai Foundation Hospice, Adonai Foundation Orphanage & Adonai Foundation Mission. Several patients especially from the rural-urban communities including girl-child victims of abuses & neglect have benefited from life saving healthcare access at Adonai Hospital and subsequent socio-economic rehabilitation & educational reinstatement through the foundations.

Social Welfare and Rights: any research interest bothering on social health & health rights in rural-urban population in resource poor settings.
Child Care & Communicable Diseases: any research interest bordering on healthcare for children at risk of or suffering from communicable diseases in resource-poor settings
Geriatrics: any research interest bordering on holistic care for the aged and older persons in resource-poor settings
