Brief History
Adonai hospital started as a goodwill seed of one family – the family of Alhaji Inuwa Iyodo, the Ogohi Attah Igala. The Medical Director had worked with Mrs. R Iyodo in the same medical department of Nigerian Paper Mill, Jebba for six years before leaving for Lagos in December 1991 to have a taste of private practice.
From what would appear to be a casual evening telephone discussion with Mrs. R Iyodo, the ‘good Samaritan’ family eventually offered him a golden seed of N50,000(US $305) as takeoff grant for the project. Ultimately Adonai Hospital was born on the 7th February, 1994.
Interestingly, what the first site Engineer rejected as a viable project unless about N500,000 (US $3,050) was available, the over 75 million naira (US $457,500) project was completed by the second construction company PLACON ENVIRONMENTAL Services (Nig.) Limited .
Since then, God has always nurtured this destiny plant all the way through.
